Elder Eric A. Williams
was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 7, 1968. He is married to Iris J. Williams, and is the proud father of four beautiful children:  Erica, Alexis, Eric, and Jalen.

Elder Eric A. Williams attended Delgado Community College and Southern University at New Orleans, where he majored in Business Management.  God allowed him to be one of the first instructors at Darryl S. Brister Community College and Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1995, Elder Eric A. Williams humbly surrendered to the call of God for his life under the leadership of Bishop Darryl S. Brister.  Elder Eric A. Williams served faithfully as the New Members Pastor at the Beacon Light International Cathedral in New Orleans, Louisiana for many years.  He was licensed to preach the Gospel in 1996 and only one year later, January 31, 1997 he was ordained as Elder.

On April 29, 2007 Elder Eric A. Williams was installed as the Senior Pastor and Teacher of the Beacon Light Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he continues to serve God and the people faithfully and diligently.

Elder Eric A. Williams ministers to over 500 people in the Baton Rouge area.  He is a new face to the Baton Rouge Community, and is devoted to every man, woman, boy and girl.  He is dedicated to making a difference in the city of Baton Rouge one soul at a time.

Before serving in full time ministry, Elder Williams was a pioneer of leadership in Corporate America.  He was part of many top-level management teams in several organizations crossing state lines.  Because of his leadership capabilities, Beacon Light of Baton Rouge membership has grown considerably.

Elder Eric A. Williams is committed to God, and God’s People.  His hearts desire is to see the people of God blessed so they can receive everything God has for them.
